On January 15, 2026, the Samut Sakhon Highway District opened a traffic diversion on Rama 2 Road at kilometer 30+500 to expedite traffic flow due to a steel structure from the construction project of Highway No. 82, Section 7 (M82) falling onto Rama 2 Road at kilometer 30+300, outbound lane. Safety equipment and traffic management personnel were deployed to facilitate the movement of motorists and expedite outbound traffic from Bangkok.
